History of Apprentice Boys in Perth
City of Perth was formed on 25th July 1987 comprising of men from Falkirk and Kingdom of Fife No Surrender Clubs.   On the day of opening we had several flute bands   and many guests from all over mainland Uk, and Northern Ireland.   One of the best aspects of the day was to the best of our knowledge a first outing of lambeg drums in Scotland   played by two well known brethren from Portadown Clounagh Campsie Club, a tie that stretches for more than quarter of a century between Perth and Portadown.   The opening ceremony was held in Perth City Halls opposite St.Johns Kirk   home to the Scottish Reformation.   Only two founder members remain today, Bros Forbes and McGregor.

Perth is mother club to Aberdeen Baker, several members travelled to Aberdeen monthly for a year and a half until a club was established in the Granite City.   We also formed another Club in Dundee which is known as, City of Dundee Campsie Club, and our newest Club formed from us is City of Inverness Campsie Club.   In football terms, we have done 'THE TREBLE'
